I began my reflexology diploma course last week at South Trafford College so I'm happy to say, that it is underway. The first class was the usual slightly tedious course introduction - as most are at the beginning - and I was keen to get on with the sole purpose (SORRY!) of my being there. But introductions are necessary, I know.
The first half of the course will be anatomy and physiology, followed by learning the art of reflexology with 5 full case studies to complete as part of the assessment. The course tutor, Sue, says there is a lot of work, which is fine by me, but I'm wondering if I should have committed myself to a week night instead of my Saturday mornings (so used to flitting off for weekends away, you see)!
Anyhow, looking forward to getting through the course and being a bone fide qualified reflexologist at the end of it, adding to my portfolio of skills and allowing me a way of working away from the desk!
Anatomy is quite difficult to understand. I took a one-year course at my University, it was terrible. You have so much things to learn by heart.
